I bought this a couple of weeks ago when I was so completely frustrated from the humidity causing me to have little bumps and redness all over my face. I don’t think there was one spot on my face that didn’t have a bump of some kind :/
So off to CVS I went!
My dermatologist actually recommended this a few months back when I had the same problem with my skin, but I figured since Proactiv didn’t do anything good AT ALL for me this wouldn’t either. Well, I used it the first night I got it and I wasn’t to fond of the tacky feeling it gave my skin. I like my skin to feel dry and soft after washing. So I used it the next few mornings and nights without the toner and the lotion, just the face wash. NOTHING. My skin was still awful after the first week of using it and the package says “See results within 1-3 days”. So, being as desperate as I was I figured I would give the toner and lotion another shot. After a week of just using the face wash I added in the toner and added just a pea size amount of the lotion to the problem areas on my face. This time I waited a bit to see if it would dry and it did. I did this only in the mornings for 3-4 days and used Lumene makeup remover/cleansing wipes before bed and my skin started to clear up! Today, two weeks into using AcneFree, my skin is soooo much better. I haven’t worn foundation in a couple of days. The tone of my skin is close to PERFECT and the little pimples are 95% gone. I have only gotten just a couple of blackheads this week and one or two small pimples.I am impressed and very pleased with the results.
-Use just a pea size of the lotion if you have oily skin like mine.
-Use at least once a day if not morning and night.
-Give it a week to work it’s magic.
I do hope that this doesn’t only work temporarily for me. That is the issue I have with most acne treatments. So we will see!
