I have taken all of the important arm knitting steps and techniques and broke them down into small clips. This way it’s easier for everyone to learn without having to rewind and fast forward and search for that one clip you need.
Here you go!
I hope this helps! Be sure to check back soon for new tutorials.

Would it be possible to arm knit a blanket using the same thick yarn that you used for the infinity scarf? I would love to make a blanket that was very fluffy and full instead of the usual knit blanket with holes. Would it be possible to do that with your arm knit blanket tutorial?
Definitely! Just be sure to buy quite a few balls of the Couture Jazz yarn!
Amazing tutorial!! I do not knit or have ever tried however I did this and it turned out beautifully!! The only question I have is about that lovely thick yarn you used. I’m in Canada and cannot find it anywhere. Can you supply the name of the places you have purchased it from. Maybe they ship to Canada!!! Keep the videos coming!!!!
Hey there! I purchased my yarn at ACMoore. However I do provide amazon links at the bottom of my blog posts:)
I have tried to download the instructions on how to arm knit, but for some reason I can not get it downloaded. Is there another way to get the instructions? I am REALLY interested in this and would LOVE to see how it is done. Thank you for your time.

Hello. Just simply watch the videos above or go to my youtube channel and watch my tutorials there. My youtube name is SimplyMaggieBlog
had never heard of this but i do want to try it, could you use regular worsted yarn and use several strands? I have lots of yarn that needs to be used, and lots of grandchidren that would like to try, 🙂
I love your tutorials! My friend got one of these made by her granddaughter…I could not believe it when she told me how it was made. I had to Google it – and when I did, I found you. I am going to try this, after I find out which yarns you used and what is available to me at JoAnn’s or Michael’s in Milwaukee. Thanks!
After watching several videos, I almost gave up until I found your video. The instructions were very clear and I only had to start over once. I ended up with the most beautiful scarf I have ever made! I used 2 Super Bulky Soft Illusion yarns from Yarn Bee, color Sophisticate. I wish I could send you the picture and I THANK YOU!
hi maggie, love your tutorials. really helpful to divide video into sections.
i worked 4 skeins into a long scarf. the long edges seem to be curling inward. is there a way to fix or avoid this? are there any other stitches that can be done to create a pattern?
thx for all of your hard work putting this together.
Hello there. The curling edges is due to the purl stitch which we used for this pattern. The only way to avoid this is to use the garter stitch which I will be making a video on this coming week. It should be up by the end of the month.
I got it all over to my left arm and where the video cuts out from your camera I cant get the stitching moved back to my right arm without it all unraveling. Help please.
Try watching one of my newer videos. 🙂
