DIY Sharpie Teacups

Materials:
- White teacups/mugs of your choice
- Mint colored sharpie
- Gold sharpie
How to:
- Make a design of your choice on your cups
- Turn oven on to 350 degrees
- Bake for 30 min and let cool in the oven for 30 min.
This project cost me about $3.00 since I already owned the teacups. Not bad!
That’s it! Now you have new cutesie teacups customized to your liking!

Are they dishwasher safe?
They sure are! I did notice on the very light mint spots that they faded a bit. So the gold and darker colors work best.
What a great idea! They are so cute.
Do you pre heat the oven? Have you ever done this on a plate? or a platter? thoughts?
Yes, preheat the oven and I set them right on the top rack. Seemed to work fine. I have noticed fading in the light green color but the gold has worked out perfect.
Thanks! How about the platter idea? I am worried about it coming off on the food? have you ever had that issue? or have you ever done it on a plate before?
I haven’t tried that yet. I have seen it before though! I might give it a shot sometime.
