If I can do it, you can do it. It took a lot of patience and I did make a few mistakes, but it was for my nephew who is 2 years old so he wouldn’t know the difference 🙂
I got the pattern from Purlbee.com. Purchase price was 9.00 I believe.
I didn’t take pictures of the process since I was in such a rush to finish it on time (I finished an hour before gifting it o_O) but I will post the items I used to make this bear down below. The yarn was on clearance at the time and the needles I had on hand so I believe the total cost was around 13.00.
This year I am going to start knitting my Christmas gifts now! That way when Christmas time comes I will only have to wrap them and relax.
Products I used:
US Size 13 DP Knitting Needles
ChiaoGoo US Size 15 10mm Circular Knitting Needles
Bernat Chunky, 100 % Acrylic, Yarn in the color Redwood – (I bought mine at ACMoore and it was on clearance) It was a bulk buy that came with 431 yrds. I used less than half.
If you can’t find this yarn here is an alternative:
Any super bulky, acrylic yarn works best.
I had stuffing left from a big box I bought at AC Moore. You can use an old pillow or a stuffed animal that is no longer being used, etc.
If you have any questions about the pattern please feel free to leave them below. I had some issues as it was my first time knitting this type of pattern. I will say that youtube videos were a huge help 🙂
