• Organize a Tiny Closet

Posted on September 8, 2012 by in Maggie's Country Home, Organize

We have tiny closets in our house, that’s part of buying of old house I guess:) So I have to make them work. The thing is, the closet is actually 3 or so feet wider then it looks here, but it goes behind a wall so it is useless space. So until we can knock down the wall and make a new door this is what I came up with!

Simply add a small dresser or storage unit. This one is from Christmas Tree Shop. I keep my tank tops, some  sweatshirts and also some linens in there.

I bought 3 packs of matching pink hangers on clearance from Marshall’s and I got the shoe organizer on the door from TJmaxx a few years ago.

On top of the dresser I keep my knits that need to lay flat and on the top shelf of the closet is some of my fall and winter boots that don’t fit on the door.

It’s better then it was!  Keeps everything off of the floor and looks nice anyway. I will post pictures someday when we redo the closets with new wider doors.
