Tutorial COMING SOON!
My husband made this for me to keep the dogs out of the kitchen. We were constantly tripping over the step over gate we previously used and he got fed up and threw this together one night.
It cost us a total of $7.00! Not bad.
We used the the hinges and handle from one of the old cabinets from our kitchen, the boards from one oak pallet and the 7.00 was for the ball clasp that keeps it shut. It’s nice and light so it swings easy.
Check back soon for the tutorial!

This is fantastic! Sure wish I had seen it prior to buying an expensive one.
It looks super, and would have been fun to make.
Thanks for all of you ideas. Much appreciated!
I’m looking for your tutorial on this but haven’t found it…
Unfortunately I never got to post this tutorial. I will look into it soon though!

[…] Pallet Doggy Gate by Simply Maggie […]
Would love to see a pic of the other side! love this!!!
Can you add a pic from the other side of the doggy gate? Would like to see how the diagonal piece is added.
I want the tutorial to make this. Where are you?
I assume since this is treated it would hold up outside on a deck? I am building a couple of these this weekend. Might have to nail two pallets together because our deck opening is quite large but beats the heck out of $60 for a gate!
can you send me a tutorial
