Approximately how big does this blanket finish as?
About how big is the hand crochet blanket with 3 yarns? Thank you.
Could this also be used to make a scarf?
Do you know how many yards are in the skein of lion brand yarn you used? Thank you.
This is so pretty. Great tutorial video. I want to try it. Can you tell me how many total yards of yarn you used for this size? or how many yards on each of the 12 skeins? Thanks!
Robin
How are you figuring how much yarn to purchase for the project you are doing. I would like to make a blanket king size. Can you help?
Mary
You said 12 skeins of wool ease thick and quick. How many meters of yarn are in each skein you’re using for the blanket. Also is the blanket large enough to cover an adult around their upper body? I am trying to make it for my sister who is ill with cancer. It is the three yarns crocheted at once blanket pattern I am inquiring about. Thank you very much for your assistance as well as the video!!
Hi Maggie,
Can you recommend an equivalent (i.e. cheaper) yarn for this project? I would like to make a larger size and the Lion Brand wool ease thick and quick will make it very expensive.
Many thanks
Do you think I could make this with two 10.5 oz super bulky (6) yarn? Thank you!
Love this look. Very textured, soft, and pliable. Made three blankets and a cowl (used double crochet finger stitch for the cowl). Wush I could post pictures, but I don’t see a place for attachments or uploads. They are beautiful blankets though; soft charcoal grey with 3 strands of chunky #6, the other two are 4 strands of variegated #4 thickness yarns. Absolutely my favorite way to make a blanket now. So much faster and thicker. I was lucky enough to find great yarn on clearance and also had some I couldn’t find a pattern I loved to use it with, until now! Thank you for great, easy to follow, instructions!
I love the look of a crocheted blanket but I get so hot while I sleep, and 12 skeins of yarn is kind of a lot of money! If I do this doubling the strands instead of tripling, do you think it will turn out okay?
Hi Maggie,
I just came across your video on YouTube and have been looking for a craft that is easy to start and makes something productive. I’m excited to try this blanket but want to make it vegan for a friend. Would a cotton yarn work as well as this and is there any you’d recommend?
Hello Maggie,
You have used 3 strands to crochet the blanket. Are there restrictions on the number of strands to use? can i use 1 strand only? as
I am finding trouble on deciding which type of yarn to use the yarn you have used in the tutorial as I am not able to find it here in the UK. Is there an alternative? Would you be able to guide me as this is my very first project? Thank you
If I want to make it a full size blanket how many skeins would I need? Also can I just do two strands instead of three? It’s a beautiful blanket.
Can you please tell us how to make 3 strands in detail.
Can I send you a picture of a baby blanket, to see if you have the pattern?
I`ve always wanted to crochet but my stitches always was wrong BUT this even I can do . Thank you so much for this video!!
Hi do you have a pattern or tutorial to make a baby nest. Thanks Adel
How many yards is each skein that you used 12 of? I’ve seen several different yardage with this yarn. Thank you!
