This looks great and so easy! I’ve never crochet’d before, but wanna give this a try. would be perfect in our small TV/Guest room. Thanks!
Will you be making an instructional video of this pattern?
Thank you so much Maggie for sharing your gift of crochet. You make the instructions so well and time appropriate for us to catch on. I love the way you present your instructions. I’ve made small lil rugs for gifts to put a little plant on. Looks very cute. Thank you again CiCi
Wow you’re amazing love your work and the way you explain, very helpful for a beginner like me.. Thank you so much for sharing your work!!
Would like to make an oblong rug. Do you make those and if so could you make a video showing how? I am 67 and you have got me hooked on arm knitting! I think you are great! Thank you!
I did this in about 2 hours yesterday and love it 🙂 I went back to the store and bought more yarn to make the blanket. So far it is amazing. I am hooked!!
Do you know how to hand crochet the puff stitch?
If I did want to use a crochet hook what size would you recommend?

I just got 9 skeins of Premier Yarns Deborah Norville Serenity Active yarn and I’m wondering if they would be good for arm knitting projects? The yarn is not as wide as other chunky yarns. I’m worried that the holes will be way too large in a blanket, for example.
Thanks!
This is great thanks I’m in the middle of making this for my babies nursery! Just wondering how you add more skiens once you finished with the first lot?
Hi, I really love love this rug and your tutorial along with the instructions were easy to follow. Can this be made the same way using half double crochet stitches
Thank you for posting this. I was an avid knitter in a previously life and this was my first crochet project. I used ESHO Chunky Wool Yarn (it was 100%poly) and felt like a think chennile. Ir came out thick and luscious! Perfect for a round bath mat in just 2 skeins.
Thank you! I love how explicit you are showing how to find the stitches and counting them.
