MATERIAL:
11 Skeins of Couture Jazz yarn in slate
Pattern:
Cast on 27 stitches
Arm knit until you have used 10 1/2 skeins
Bind off loosely to keep from making a skinnier edge
Weave in your ends
To attach each new skein, tie a double knot and trim the excess to the shape of the knot.
Keep your stitches as tight as possible by keeping them at the smallest part of your arm and making sure the stitches aren’t twisted. If the stitches are twisted they will be unable to tighten all the way.

So excited to try this! I know in the arm knit in 45 minutes pattern you cast on 18 and knit 33 rows. here you cast on 27 so how many rows do you knit? Like 49-50 or is it the same? (This might be a silly question but I just want to get this as close to right as possible haha!) It has been years since I tried to knit anything sooo maybe this isn’t the best project haha!
Never mind I figured it out! Thank you again
I’m using a different yarn and one order have 35.2 M, is this enough for one blanket?
Couture Jazz yarn is 16 yards/15 meters per skein, 11 skeins of this yarn is 176 yards or 165 meters, so the 35.2 meters is no where near enough yarn for a blanket, at 35.2 meters you would need 5 of them to make the blanket. Hope this helps, happy knitting!
Do you happen to have a video posted of you making this blanket?
I love your blog and have successfully completed the large arm knit blanket. Thank you for such an amazing tutorial! I hoped that you could help with an issue. The wool in my blanket continues to pil and shed (I now have dust Buffalo roaming m home! LOL) it is also making the blanket look like a puff of fuzz, rather than seeing all of the beautiful stitch work. Do you have any techniques or suggestions for alleviating this?
Hello – is the Couture Jazz yarn soft? I’ve been looking at Tutorials with Merino Wool, but I know Merino wool is extremely expensive!
What kind of yarn should I use if I don’t want it to shed?
Hi Maggie! I’m a bit confused about how many skeins I should use. I like the length of this blanket, and I noticed that you used 11 skeins just like in your 45 minute arm knit blanket. That blanket seemed to be a lot smaller than this one. Is 11 skeins accurate for this size of blanket? Thank you!
