Where has the time gone?! I’m 30 weeks and 4 days as I type this and that means there’s only around 9 1/2 weeks left until this baby boy is here. Crazy.
So this past week was one of the hardest…ever. I headed to the ER Thursday morning at approximately 6am after suffering for 3 hours. I was in the most pain I had ever experienced. On top of that I was vomiting and shaking.

Going on 57 hours with kidney stones . No longer in the hospital and I’m on my couch at home with pain medication, but these things are so stubborn. Ryder is healthy and comfy, which is most important. We’ll see how the rest of the weekend goes for me.

Turns out I had kidney stones. I was admitted for overnight monitoring for me and the baby and headed home the next day after passing the stone(s).
I can take a few good things from this experience.
1. Kidney stones are more painful than labor (or so EVERYONE tells me), so this gives me peace of mind!
2. We met a lot of the nurses and got a good feel for the routine in the maternity ward.
3. My husband knows his way around the hospital now and we know a little bit of what to expect when I go into labor! haha So if you want to be positive about it, there you go.
Here are my baby belly pictures and as you can see, my belly button decided to pop out at the end of my 29th week while in the hospital.
Weeks 26-30 Pregnancy Symptoms:
-Well, kidney stones was a big one. There was no specific reason I got them. So I’ve been told to continue my diet and prenatal pills.
-Weight gain again. 4 lbs over the last 5 weeks, making a grand total of 19 or so lbs over my entire pregnancy.
-I had my glucose screening and passed. The test was quite easy and I wasn’t called back for the 3 hour screening thank God!
-Heartburn (as I type this). It’s getting worse by the week.
-He is getting so big and so are the movements! I swear he is doing flips while being sprawled out, which leaves me in pain and laughing at the same time.
-My belly button popped out which also makes me laugh every time I lift my shirt.
-Dermatitis. It’s basically dry, bumpy skin on the sides of my mouth, which resembles eczema, but not quite the same. It’s common in pregnancy from hormones.
-Sore, tight lower back.
-Peeing all the time and almost a little when I laugh haha. Pregnancy is quite comical. Ryder also LOVES my bladder. It’s his punching bag, I swear.
-Constipation, still. Milk of magnesium works wonders.
-NO stretch marks yet! YAY! We will see if that continues. I have always had quite stretchy and oily skin so it may be working to my advantage lately.
I can’t think of anymore symptoms or updates at the moment
I will check back in another 4 or 5 weeks with photos and updates. One more post and then baby boy should be here! OH MY WORD.
I hope you are all enjoying 2016 so far! I’m off to NYC tomorrow for a business trip weekend with Ryan and then it’s back to reality and a bathroom remodel on Monday.
