One of my favorite meals! The chicken just falls apart when it’s done cooking. Let’s get started!
What you’ll need:
4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
2 jars pasta sauce (or diced tomatoes, whichever you prefer)
1 green pepper (chopped)
1 package mushrooms (sliced)
1 med. white or yellow onion (chopped)
4 cloves of garlic (chopped)
2 teaspoons dried oregano
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup chicken broth
1 lb pasta (or you can use rice)
Start by rinsing and placing chicken in slow cooker. Prepare all veggies and place them on top of the chicken. Add spices, sauce and broth and cook on low for 7 to 8 hours. Simple as that! Make sure all veggies are soft and and the chicken shreds. If the veggies are still firm turn the crockpot to high and cook for another 30 minutes to an hour.
