Here is my video tutorial showing you how to Arm Knit the Linen Stitch. It’s a little different than the usual knit stitch you see in a lot of Arm Knitting tutorials. This stitch will give you a tighter looking knit piece, with smaller holes.
Watch the video below and then scroll down to get the pattern for the cowl.
-One skein of Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick and Quick in the color Oatmeal
-Pull one strand from the center of the skein and one strand from the outside of the skein and knit with both strands at one time as if they are one.
-Make a slip knot and slide it onto your right arm
-Cast on 20 stitches using the long tail cast on method
-Arm Knit the linen stitch for 19 rows
-Bind off loosely using the usual bind off method
-Fold your piece in half inside out and sew the ends
-Weave in the ends and cut the excess
