Materials: 6.6 lbs of Super Chunky Merino Wool Yarn (you can use less for a smaller throw, Cast on 18 stitches then knit until you have enough yarn to bind off)
How to Arm Knit a Giant Blanket with Merino Wool was last modified: May 2nd, 2019 by Maggie
Hi Maggie! I’m attempting to make a baby blanket similar to this using different colors. I watched your rib knit video as well, would you tie off to change colors the same way you did in that video, with the merino wool? Also, do you know about how big this blanket you made ended up measuring when you were done? Thanks for the great tutorials!!
Hi. Two questions for you. For giant merino wool blanket how big did the blanket turn out to be? Also would you suggest using merino wool to arm knit or would a different material be better?

Beautiful! Can you use another yarn? I have seen some pretty bulky ones that would be pretty. Also, what is the care for this wool blanket?
