Materials:
- One skein of worsted weight yarn
- Size 8 knitting needles
Pattern:
- Cast on 26 stitches
- Knit 10 rows
- Bind off 10 stitches, knit to end of row
- Bind off 10 stitches, knit to end of row
- Knit those 6 remaining stitches for 21 rows
- Bind off
- Sew Edges as shown below
I sewed them inside out, but they can be sewn however you’d like.

These are absolutely precious! I have questions, please – how many yards of yarn are required for a pair of booties; and may I substitute tapestry wool for the worsted weight yarn? (The tapestry wool comes in 8.7 yard skeins; hence the question about yardage.) Thank you for your assistance. Again, these little booties are dear and I look forward to making them for my new great granddaughter.
